"Mark Longstreath: I have spoken to one of the divers who was onboard. They have made reports to OSHA and The ADC. It is his wish that they be given a change to produce the reports and allow the family to grieve without rumor or conjecture. I respect those wishes."
John Carl Roat: I agree with Mark on the rumor or conjecture part and let the family grieve. My problem is twofold:
1) Under OSHA and the ADCI a three man dive is just fine. This needs to end and you need to let them know that! (My question to every diver: Have you let the ADCI know what you think about the Three man dive team? For most of you it would be my guess, NO.) It is to late when your dead or a friend dies!
2) Take the time to read the simple questions I ask OSHA and the completed OSHA Investigation on another divers death. OHSA Investigations on a divers death, when done, are for the most part useless. This needs to change and you need to let them know that. The OSHA designated spokes person is: Diana Petterson. petterson.diana@dol.gov
