Until the new Coast Guard Regulation are complete: "diver will be continually tended" is one of the few hard and fast regulations we are governed by!
Matthew Smock was killed 1-8-2011 as a result of unsafe diving practices and divers and tenders that were not doing their jobs. This is NOT the Dive Crew Matthew was working with but they are doing the same damn thing his crew did, NO one is tending the diver! Do you see a dressed Stand-by Diver?
If you are with a Dive Crew that works like this LEAVE! And for Gods sake have the courage to tell them WHY!
