I got a look at the new DUI Hotwater Suit. Better yet I got to talk with Dick Long about it and he is very interested on having other Dives, Supervisors and Techs give him their opinions. One of several changes being made is the distribution block/valve looks the same on the outside, it is not. I believe every Sat Tech will love this change.
It boils down to no longer having to go through all the aggravation of removing the valve when it needs to be replaced or repaired. With the new one there is a maintenance pocket on the inside of the suit. See Pic:
I gave Mr. Long my opinions; he has joined the site and will be posting his ideas and asking you what you as Technicians, Divers and Supervisors think.
He also has some interesting Ideas on how to make his Wet Suits “FOR COMMERCIAL DIVERS not Surfers†better and wants to hear what you think on that as well.
