The NOSAC Dive Safety Sub-Committee Phase 2 Recommendations will be completed soon. It appears the Coast Guard will be publishing there first set of changes to the current standards/CFRs shortly thereafter. Those will be open to the public for Comment. This process has been going on since 1998 and is well past due! All the hard work done to get to this stage can still be undone if divers and supervisors do not speak up in support of those recommend changes. We have attached one of those documents to this article. (See Attachment)
